Hanging Basket Workshops

IPM Facilities host many hanging baskets workshops at our client’s properties, and they work especially well at large business parks with multiple tenants.

This is a great opportunity for the tenants to learn new skills, interact with one another and boost morale. We hold many throughout the year, using seasonal flowers and sustainable compost. As well as being informative and teaching the tenants horticultural techniques and new ideas, all participants can take their creations home. The workshops are always undertaken, supervised, and taught by qualified horticulturalists.

Case Study

These events are very popular, and we host multiple sessions throughout a day to allow all those wishing to attend the opportunity to do so. We generally hold these events over lunch hours, but the sessions can be held outside of business hours, to allow tenants to attend after work. These sessions are staggered, to allow as many people to attend as possible. If a business has a theme, such as its corporate colours is the order of the day, we can arrange and design the flora to match the branding of a business park or a particular business.

We offer the following:

  • Petunias

  • Ivy Geraniums

  • Lobelia

  • Trailing Fuchsia

  • Impatiens

We supply everything needed, so when a tenant turns up for the event, there is a basket, liner, soil, and plants, all ready to go. One of our qualified staff will run the session and give advice on maintenance etc, along the way. The clients are free to keep their creations, which they can hang at home or at the office if they so desire.

At each session, we will discuss possible pests and diseases, along with remedies to create an outstanding basket that can be admired by all.

As an environmentally conscience company, we try to use recycled baskets and liners where possible, and the plants within the baskets help create a sustainable ecosphere for local wildlife such as bees etc. As part of the session, our staff will extol the virtues of being environmentally friendly, and how we can all do our bit to help make the world a better place.
